Elsa's going through another stage where she's obsessed with drawing, especially on her Magna-Doodle. And in the last week or so, she's suddenly started drawing REAL faces, complete with eyes, nose, smile, and more, all in the correct locations. Here's one of her recent masterpieces—as you can see, this guy even has arms and hands.
I had no idea what's normal as far as drawing skills for 2-year-olds, so I did a little searching online and came up with this interesting link about kids' artistic development. According to this, Elsa seems to be well ahead of the curve for her age group. : )
