Elsa was pretty fussy at Grandma and Grandpa's. Although she didn't seem sick in any other respect, she did have diarrhea all day, and she seemed just generally tired and overwhelmed by all the activity. I'm again blaming all of this on the convenient excuse of teething, but if that darn tooth doesn't show up soon, I'm going to have to stop using it as a scapegoat!
After a good nap in her carseat, Elsa got her second wind for a flurry of present-opening before we left. Elsa's gifts included a musical shape sorter from Aunt Katie, a booster seat from Uncle Tom and Aunt Tanya, a very cute outfit and a giant teddy bear from Great-Aunt Beth, and three huge bags full of clothes from Karina! And here she is in an adorable hat that was a present from Sharon and Heather.

Grandpa's present from all the Heinrich kids was this custom-made rendition of the family crest, carved in wood and painted. Tom came up with the idea for this very nice gift.

She looks so cute in the poncho! I'm glad she likes it.
