We took the girls to see Santa at Sprecher Brewery on Sunday. Only in Milwaukee do they combine Santa and beer. : ) Technically, it was called "Soda with Santa" (Sprecher also makes root beer and a variety of other flavors of soda). But Bob and I got beer samples while we waited in line for the our turn with the big guy. Can't argue with that! Both girls were happy to sit on Santa's lap, and Elsa had so much to tell him that she went over our time limit and had to be shuffled off by Santa's helpers.
The event also included an abbreviated tour of the brewery and Elsa got to drink all the root beer, Ravin' Red, cream soda and orange soda that she could hold.
We don't think she's ever had soda before (maybe just a sip or two of my Diet Coke), so we may have opened a Pandora's Box here, but it was fun. And
vastly better than dealing with Santa at the mall!

That picture of Bob and the girls is absolutely adorable. And Lee, Elsa reminds me so much of you when you were little in that picture. Something about her looks just like you did.
