Elsa had her 6-month pediatrician appointment yesterday, and yes, she's still huge. She is 27.25 inches long (91st percentile), and 20 pounds 12 ounces (off the charts, again). Which means we're just a little over a pound away from needing that new car seat!
She objected strenuously to having her head measured and to being weighed (though I can hardly blame her for that), but behaved very well for the rest of the exam—other than the dreaded vaccines, of course. She had additional doses of all of the same vaccines she's had before: DTaP, Polio, Pneumococcal, and Rotavirus. She also got her first flu vaccine, and needs to go back in one month for an additional dose of that one.
