Door County

We spent last weekend in Door County at "The Lodge." Eight adults, two babies, and three dogs in one rental beach house—it was sometimes chaotic, but still a great time! Bob, Elsa, Belle and I were joined by Tom, Tanya, Karina, Katie, Nate, Quentin, Lisa, and dogs J.J. and Daisy. The dogs had SUCH a blast chasing tennis balls, swimming, and jumping in the waves, and Karina and Elsa loved the beach and got to spend a lot of time playing together. Here's Elsa walking in the sand with Mommy:
She loved the waves lapping at her toes:

And everybody enjoyed watching the doggies running and playing.

Building a sand castle with Aunt Katie:
Karina demonstrates the finer points of using her shape sorter:
Elsa greets "Cookie the Cow" at Schopf's Hilltop Dairy. It's a working dairy farm that offers tours, a corn maze, and of course, ice cream. We got to watch cows being milked (actual cows, not Cookie):
Elsa tries ice cream for the first time. She LOVED both Daddy's vanilla and Mommy's chocolate:
Karina and Elsa both loved this baby cow:
We even bumped into Brett Favre at the dairy. But he refused to give Elsa his autograph:
We went out to dinner on Saturday night. Both Karina and Elsa behaved very well at the restaurant (it helped that it was a very noisy, kid-friendly place, so Elsa's high-pitched shrieks went mostly unnoticed). Here's Karina, Tanya, and Elsa outside the restaurant:
The whole gang at the table:
It's so nice that we can all get together like this! Another big thanks goes out to Tanya for organizing the trip.

Quentin and Daisy and I had so much fun on our trip to Door County (Even if Daisy had her naughty moments towards the other dogs.) We are very much looking forward to future trips!! ;)

PS- I couldn't remember my password etc. that is why I had to be "anonymous."
