Elsa went to her first sporting event yesterday: The Marquette basketball game. Bob got tickets to his firm's suite, so with the additional room to spread out, we thought we'd try bringing her. And she behaved perfectly through the whole thing—she was wide awake and very alert the entire time, but didn't even cry once! She seemed extremely interested in everything that was going on, looking around at all the lights and the sea of bright yellow t-shirts in the student section. Whenever the crowd was particularly loud, she got a little startled, and as a result she would wave her arms and legs excitedly, which actually made it look like she was following along with the game and cheering. : ) She's clearly a basketball fan in the making.

Daddy finishes his explanation of zone defense with a kiss.

We met up with Uncle Tom and Aunt Tanya at halftime, so they actually got to see her when she was awake! Yay! (And yes, that is drool all over the front of her shirt—the drooly stage has apparently begun.)
