Christmas in Michigan

We spent a few days in Michigan after Christmas, and as usual, the kids had such a great time together. It's such a pleasure to watch them playing together! They love each other so much. : )

One of the things the girls (especially Elsa) had been wanting and had asked for from Santa was a Dreamlite. Unfortunately for the girls, Grandma B. called dibs on the Dreamlites, and we didn't see Grandma B. until we arrived in Michigan well after Christmas. This, of course, resulted in Elsa being convinced that Santa didn't come through for her. And what could I do but just keep my mouth shut until we got to Michigan? But they were very, very happy when they opened their presents from Grandma.

Elsa had been wanting a doll "that could be her friend and looked just like her." She got this blondy Cabbage Patch Kid from Aunt Ellen and Uncle Dave.

And Claire got this Pinky Pie doll (which is actually extremely annoying, but she loves it).

Claire was very excited to be able to wear her fabulous new dress to dinner one day.

Merry Christmas to all our Michigan family members!
