Elsa got some sealants put on her molars recently, and of course Opa did the honors. I had no idea, but apparently they have a very difficult time putting sealants on kids so young. The tooth has to be extremely dry in order to apply the sealant, which means the kids have to sit with their mouth open for quite some time.
Opa said Elsa broke the office record—he was able to put 8 sealants on in one sitting. With many kids, they have trouble even getting a sealant on one single tooth! I'm sure it helped a lot that it was her grandpa doing the work, but still, I was proud of her!
