Two-Year Stats

Claire had her 2-year check-up last week. She weighed 30 pounds, 11 ounces, which is about the 88th percentile, and her height was 34.5" inches, which is the 70th percentile. So she's still just a bit smaller than Elsa was at this age—a little over a pound lighter and 1.25" shorter. Yay, Claire! Thank you for doing your part to save Mommy's back.

Her head was 49.7 cm, which is the 95th percentile. So her giant head is on the charts for the first time ever. She must be growing into it at last. : )

Also, while at our appointment, she noticed an eye chart on the wall that was made up entirely of "H," "O," "T," and "V." She immediately pointed at the letters and said, "H, O, T!" (Evidently she's not familiar with V.)

YAY! for smartee Claire. Good stats and good reading from the eye chart. I guess that big head has a big, working brain.
Love, Grandma B.
