New Baby Cousin Jack

Elsa and Claire got a new little cousin on June 13. Katie and Steve welcomed baby Jack almost four weeks early. (But since he weighed in at more than 7 pounds, there was speculation that her due date may have been wrong.)

And I had just hosted Katie's baby shower just four days before he was born. Whew, got that in just under the wire. : )

Jack is such a sweet little guy, and the girls just loooove him. They argued in the car on the way to the hospital about who would get to hold him first, and squabbled on the way home about who had gotten the longer turn. Too bad they're not old enough to farm out as babysitters.

So that makes five cousins for these lucky girls—two girls and three boys. So many cousins to play with. : )
