This is what happens when you try to teach a full dance routine to a bunch of 4-year-olds in four days (and then wait more than a week for them to perform it):
Elsa took a pom-pom clinic a few weeks ago through the Mequon Rec Department. She really enjoyed it–one of her friends from dance class was in it as well, and it was taught by girls from the high school dance team. The culmination of the four-day clinic was this performance, held before the football game at Homestead High School last weekend.
Although it was only about 45 seconds long, it was pretty cute, and I swear half the little girls in Mequon participate. I especially like the attempt at a Rockette-style kick line at the end. Also, when you watch the video, listen closely for Claire, who is laughing and saying "Elsa" in the background!
