Once Upon a Potty

Last week I ordered this Once Upon a Potty gift set for Elsa. It includes a potty (Elsa didn't like the potty seat I previously bought for the big toilet), as well as the book "Once Upon a Potty" and a doll with her own little potty. And wow, has it sparked Elsa's interest in all things potty. I had to read the book to her six times the first day we had it, and she often runs into the bathroom to sit on the potty.

Best of all, the next day, she was sitting quietly coloring when she suddenly looked up, said to me, "Potty!" and ran over to sit on it. Sure enough, she was simultaneously filling her diaper. She didn't tell me in time for full-fledged use of the potty, but still, it's good progress! The main problem now is that because she loves the potty so much, she often sits on it just for fun, so it's hard for me to tell the difference between that and when she actually has to go. Hopefully we'll iron that out soon enough.
