We've been enjoying lots of fun summer events and activities over the past few weeks, including the Cedarburg Strawberry Festival, Milwaukee Summerfest (on Kids' Day), Mequon's Fourth of July parade, and the Whitefish Bay Fourth of July fireworks.Not surprisingly, Elsa's favorite event so far this summer was the Strawberry Festival. We had strawberry shortcake, strawberry sundays, and chocolate covered strawberries.

At Summerfest, we saw some mascots (including a couple of the Brewers Sausages), colored in a craft tent, and Elsa especially enjoyed the bouncy-play area. She'd never been in one of these inflatable jumper things before and got a huge kick out of it.
And of course, we've spent as much time as possible on our very own patio. Here's Claire enjoying the view from her bouncy seat:
