Here's Carter showing off one of his own Christmas presents, a motorized Jeep that actually does up to 5 miles an hour. Carter's pretty good at driving it, although crashing it into things (frequently) seemed to be a large part of the fun. In this picture, they had just forcefully backed into the game table.
Hang on Carter, the chick's driving!
After a night at Ellen and Dave's, we headed to Grandpa J.'s. Elsa got a set of wooden fruit that she can pretend to cut up, some buildable bugs, a magnetic board with different animal scenes, and a "tumble buggy" car that can crash into walls. Here are Carter and Elsa opening their bug parts. (Whenever Elsa plays with the bugs, she repeatedly insists that they are "friendly bugs.")
Playing with Grandpa:
Thanks for all the great presents, everybody!

We had so much fun with all the Christmas festivities! We miss you guys already. Carter promises to let Elsa drive the jeep more next time. :)
